Fire Strategy Report

The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 states that every commercial premises should have a fire strategy in place.

The key reason for obtaining a fire strategy report is to ensure that proper and effective fire safety precautions have been taken, and to confirm that the potential threat of fire is, as far as possible, minimised and that any fire incident is properly and promptly dealt with.

Overview

In simple terms a Fire Risk Assessment is carried out to identify Fire Risks and potential hazards in a building.  Normally developed in the design phase of a build however existing buildings require a strategy also and these can be carried out retrospectively.

A Fire Strategy Report is a much more in-depth look at a building with a view to putting a plan in place to minimise the risks when there is a fire and to prevent the spread of fire. The Fire Strategy Report will include guidance on the best precautions and exit strategies for your premises.

Our Fire Strategy Reports are a thorough and detailed look at a building from a fire safety perspective. The report will examine the impact of fire on a building, both internally and externally ensuring that both your staff and any members of the public will be safe if there is a fire. Upon completion of the assessment, UK Fire Consulting provide a comprehensive Fire Strategy Report which details our findings and most importantly provides a list of recommendations to allow you to bring your premises up to the required fire safety standard.
